Upon arriving back at the manor, Ricki sees several workers leaving on their way back home. It looks like they’ve finished the renovations she ordered several days ago. Ricki immediately gets excited and grabs Kamau and Lara by the hand.
“They’re done!! Come on, I’ve got a surprise for the both of you!”
“A surprise? What kind of surprise?”
“You’ll see! It’s gonna be great!”
“You gotta just run with her when she gets like this, Kam.”
Oh my gawd, the happy faces, finally!
They look like a happy family.
Out of context one could think it’s a couple and their halfbreed daughter.
Maybe she’s adopted. And beloved.
How cute! Getting moments like this makes renovation bonuses all the more sweeter.

(Also happy Ricki is adorable, too, just not quite as much. Pets have an unfair advantage in that department, just like in real life…)
