Dungeon 1 Turn 6
————
Ricki climbs up the ladder to the next level of the room and feeds her cheese to the two rats there. She tries to use this as an opportunity to win the rats over to her side, but they don’t seem interested in her at all. Mostly they seem interested in eating the cheese as quickly as possible.
With a sigh, Ricki checks the third cell door and confirms that it is locked before returning to the right side of the rat group.
I think we should read the sign on the highest level, and then proceed either right or left.
I think there’s only Left, if you look carefully at the page borders
Yep, just left. Still, this is a good idea I think.
end the rats for their betrayal
Ricki Best fight your way past the three up top before your shield or torch breaks. Since you’re now cheeseless, after they’re defeated, grab a burnt rat to eat while you try to read the sign.
I have a brilliant plan. rats like cheese right? they are attracted to cheese right? we throw one of the rats into the cell behind the sword, such that when they run back to the cheese they will drag the sword with them. I call this the ratarang
Fire seems to scare rats, move to the third floor and attempt to ward them off with it (try to void combat, but be ready to defend), heading to the left. Read the sign on the way.
Ricki has 3 HP and 2 DEF, and there are 3 rats. According to the rules, she’ll take 1 damage (3 total ATK – 2 DEF) this turn, with a 30% chance to break the buckler. I think these are pretty good odds, she can probably kill all three rats and take only 1 damage.
The only reason to run past would be to reduce the time she stays here, which is also important: 3 extra turns here means 3 extra turns for the guards to return, plus the torch and buckler might break.
Ricki: Ignore the rats and run past
