Yay, you’ve just got yourselves a first formal quest from an NPC in this story!
Now, since apparently Kamau is the knowledgeable one here, and Ricki the more hm resourceful one, let Kamau finalize the contract, discuss the terms and goals and any restrictions (like, is it still OK if the +3 jam in the cellar is destroyed), sign any papers, and so on. In the meantime Ricky will assess the situation on this floor and check there are any materials or resources that are critical for the mission to success.

Yes! Get rid of “Malnourished”, don your leather armor, pick up the auto-magically appearing Thieves’ Tools Dungeon Starter Set, use Dungeon Eyes at the threshold, use Trap Detection I (avoid traps and point them out to Kamau), say “Thank you” to Kamau, remember to remove that ball and chain. Anything else? Maybe take a flashlight with you? Or torch or oil lamp or whatsoever.
