“Well it’s about time someone showed up to take a look downstairs! There’s more critters showing up down there all the time! I had to bring most of what I had stored down there up and put it all in the kitchen closet.”
“And now there’s something wrong with the ale pipes, too! The stuff that’s coming up is hardly fit to sell!”
“And now some of the patrons are taking it upon themselves to go there and mess around, tryin’ to fix it. It’s just a matter of time before one of them idiots gets himself eaten by rats or something.”
“I am NOT looking forward to the lawsuits.”
“I know you said you’re off-duty, but do you think you could go down there tonight? Even if you could just fix the problem with the pipes and get the ale flowing properly again, that’d be a big help.”
