Intermission 1 Page 2

Ricki and Kamau make their way down the darkened streets towards the district wall. They’re careful not to be seen, but there is almost no one around to avoid at this hour.
“These friends of yours… will THEY be comfortable harbouring a fugitive?”
“They harbour ME.”
“Sure, but if we’re going to Goblintown I assume your friends are also goblins. Won’t it be a problem if you ask them to hide a human?”
“Why would it be a problem?”
“…If nothing else, won’t I stick out a bit?”
“Nah, not really. You’d be surprised how many different kinds of people live in our neighbourhood. The name “Goblintown” is really old.”
“It’s been years since the last time I was there. Things must have changed a lot.”
“Yeah, I guess.”
“So can you tell me anything about these friends of yours?”
“…Ricki?”
“Actually, hang on a second.”
“I’m gonna go steal some food from that tavern real quick.”
Kamau: *facepalm*
Uhhhh… Don’t get caught! Might be best to steal from the kitchen and not any particular guest.
Lmao. Not quite what I meant by getting Ricki some food, but it works i suppose. Assuming she doesn’t get caught. I bet people in chats wish they picked sneaky now xP cause it would guarantee she wouldn’t get caught. Also poor kamau. Does remorse count against stealing food? Lol (I know it doesnt; I’m just making a joke cause of his face in last panel)
No, don’t draw attention to yourselves NOW!
Kamau, stop her and talk some reason into her.
Ricki: Get Kamau to (relative) safety and then organize some food from there. (e.g. selling the rusty sword and see what food you can get for 3 gold). Stealing food is what got you in that dungeon jail in the first place.
Doesn’t the old “Trick or Treat” work anymore? A child dressed as goblin and an elder dressed as fighter – who would not give them some food? OK, with bad luck Ebenezer Scrooge runs the tavern. For what it is worth: Acquiring food when starving is not stealing. If it is in that legislation, then topple over its government, but maybe level up a few more times first.
