Dungeon 1 Turn 3

————

Strapping the buckler to her arm for however long it may last, Ricki heads up to the next floor and takes a look through the papers on the desk. These appear to be prisoner dispositions, and they are mostly very outdated. The only recent one reads as follows:

Cell 1A – 2 burglars, caught arguing over loot. think one of em snuck in a shiv. let em work it out among themselves.
Cell 2A – kobold, held for drunk and disorderly conduct. release in morning.
Cell 3A – TRAITOR
Cell 1B – to be cleaned
Cell 2B – damaged, awaiting repair
Cell 3B – goblin thief, caught red-handed stealing from fruit stall. confiscated fruit and lockpicks, stored in evidence.”

Oho, so they kept the fruit, did they? Ricki resolves to see if she can find it before she escapes. She’s hasn’t eaten properly in weeks and this moldy cheese isn’t going to cut it. She could also use another set of lockpicks, she supposes, if she wants to get into any other cells. Ricki puts the papers back where she found them.

While here, she also notes that although she could probably take the torch on the wall, it’s too high for her to reach.
