Dungeon 1 Turn 11
————
Ricki hauls one of the heavy steel balls out of the crate and rolls it over the ladder. She calls for the dog to get its attention, and when it runs over she rolls the ball over the edge.
You know, she doesn’t feel super great about doing this to a defenseless dog.
…or at least, she WOULDN’T feel super great about it if she hadn’t been bitten by one of these guard dogs like a dozen times.
The steel ball shatters upon impact (somehow) and the injured dog retreats to its place in the middle of the hallway. It’s not dead, but it was hurt pretty bad. The same trick likely won’t work again, though.
Finish the job!
Ricki: Attack!
Finish the fight with the dog and go talk to the prisoner!
Either you could set up a second one and go down as bait, hoping you can pull the chain, probably just hurting yourself or you can try to torch it. Both will probably hurt, but the latter is less likely to kill you, I think.
Maybe you should look around for something you can defend yourself with first though. I suggest quickly checking the cell doors (watching for the trap of course).
I don’t see much benefit in immediately fighting the dog. Even if we kill it, there are two locks we would have to get through in order to free the prisoner. Killing the dog might let us talk to him, but not much more. I think it would make more sense to try and get the stuff from the chests, like a lockpicking kit, before we try to free the prisoner.
It barked, hurry up & hide in/behind the crate, the guards could be coming, if they come use the distraction to get back up past their initial place.
Ricki oh my gosh do not continue attacking the dog! Instead go check out the off-colored floor behind the bars on this floor. Maybe it’s a trapdoor that’ll let us chat with the prisoner without having to get past the dog!
Yeah, you should probably get ready to hide. This dungeon isn’t that big. Somebody could have heard that.
Jesus fuck what is that dog made of
We gotta kill it so we can turn this Neiman guard dog into armor
We should be able to intimidate the dog alot easier now, and there’s a bunch of locks in the way regardless. We aren’t that starved for conversation. Let’s look into those chests, since we still can’t reach the keys
